The SEC so far has shown like any other conference it can have multiple teams have make overs and start to rise while former top contenders start to have issues. Texas A&M after ridding itself from Jimbo Fisher and starting over with a new head coach Mike Elko is now sitting at the top of the league with a 3-0 record. Texas and LSU are right behind with a 1-0 record on conference with now nothing but conference games ahead.

Though we still have allot of football left to be played, the top of the SEC is starting to shape out, and several teams have some big matchups this week. Texas will take on its archrival Oklahoma in the Red River rivalry as the biggest one this weekend. LSU and Ole Miss will hook up in a huge match up for who will be left in the top tier of the conference, must win for both to be able to have a shot at a Championship berth. The same could be said for Florida at Tennessee as these two battle, Tennessee needs the win to keep its hopes alive while Florida is trying to save its coaches job after a rough start.
