College SportsCast take a look after a wild week in college football. Week five in college football we saw our biggest shake up in the College Football Playoff (CFP) rankings as of yet this season. Ole Miss and Utah were both upset at home and Georgia went down in Tuscaloosa. As the season goes along more and more excitement and changes will be made.
The College Football Playoff expands to 12 teams this season. Hear from @ESPN's @KirkHerbstreit and learn how the bracket will play out from the CFP First Round through the 2025 CFP #NationalChampionship, slated for Monday, January 20 at Atlanta's @MBStadium.#CFBPlayoff 🏈🏆 pic.twitter.com/Fd1tbkwy4f

1-4 will be Power 4 conference winners, 5-11 will be at-large teams, and 12 will be the leading Group of Five conference team. Each week we will include at least 2 more honorable mention at-large teams and 2 more honorable mention Group of Five teams.
All eyes were on Georgia versus Alabama in Tuscaloosa on this past Saturday night and the game did not disappoint. Over 12 million viewers tuned to see the Tide jump out to a 28-0 lead only to see a second half comeback for the Bulldogs to take a late lead 34-33. However, rookie sensation wide receiver Ryan Williams made an incredible catch and spinning acrobatic moves to score what turned to be game winning touchdown. New coach Kalen DeBoer made a statement with the win 41-34 over Kirby Smart and his Georgia Bulldogs.

Earlier in the day, the Kentucky Wildcats went into Oxford Mississippi and came away with a stunning 20-17 win over the Ole Miss Rebels. A gutsy play call of a go route on fourth and seven from their own 20-yard line from quarterback Brock Vandagriff to wideout Barion Brown was turning point in the win. It was Kentucky’s first road win over a top ten team since 1977 over Penn State. The Rebels missed wide left on a possible 48-yard game tying field goal and the Wildcats ran out the clock to secure the win.
Utah playing again without quarterback Cam Rising lost at home to Arizona, and several unheralded undefeated teams kept the winning ways to remain unbeaten, Indiana, Duke, BYU, UNLV, Army, and Navy. It is the first time since 1945 that both Army and Navy have been unbeaten this late in the season.
