Week 4 of our “NFL Sunday Night Football” preview series takes us to Baltimore, where the Ravens will host the Buffalo Bills in a true AFC heavyweight matchup. The Ravens are favored by 2.5 points and look to slow down the high-scoring Bills’ offense.

With a perfect 3-0 record and averaging a league-best 37.3 points per game, the Bills are certainly clicking going into this one. So far this season, Josh Allen seems to be making better decisions. Where interceptions/turnovers have been an issue in the past, he has logged zero INTs so far this season. There were also concerns about the offense going into the season without star WR Stefon Diggs, but they have spread the load almost evenly. WR Khalil Shakir has also emerged and proven his worth and ability.

The Ravens enter this one 1-2, but with a much more difficult road thus far than the Bills. After losing a one-score game to the Chiefs in Week 1 by an out-of-bounds toe and an upset loss to the Raiders in Week 2, they rebounded with a win over a solid team in the Dallas Cowboys. The Ravens’ offense is no slouch either, with the most yards per game in the league, averaging 430.3. Their defense has been an interesting study, with literally the best rush defense and worst pass defense in the league.

This game really could go either way. It’s hard to see the Ravens continuing to be the worst pass defense in the league after finishing sixth last season. The Ravens will need to force Josh Allen into his first INT of the season and attack their middle-of-the-pack run defense, while the Bills will look to keep Allen protected so he can attack the early struggles of the Ravens’ pass defense.
