The Clemson Tigers Volleyball team (8-3) came into Alley Gym and swept the Furman Volleyball (6-5) by 3 sets (25-16, 25-22, 25-20). Furman gave a valiant effort, but the Tigers was just too much for Paladins Saturday afternoon. The Tigers Freshman Neea-Maria Joki had 16 kills with a .462 hitting percentage in the game. Sophomore Kennedy Wagner added 13 kills, while sophomore McKenna Gildon led with three aces while Joki added two aces with Audrey Armbruster and Devan Taylor each adding one. Clemson’s had seven total in the match Saturday versus Furman.

Furman will go into the Southern Conference portion of its schedule next weekend, September 27-28, traveling to East Tennessee State and UNC Greensboro.
Clemson Tigers return home to Jervey Gym to open ACC action on Friday, Sept. 27 when Clemson hosts top-ranked Pitt at 7 p.m. on ACCNX. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure a seat.
