“Timeless” Toni Storm will defend her AEW Women’s World Championship against former friend Mariah May. Mariah recently turned heel on Toni, notably leaving her a bloody mess using Toni’s own high-heeled shoe. Toni Storm has had a great run as champion, really getting over with the crowd and elevating the AEW women’s title. The character has seemed to lack further development as of late, whereas Mariah May has really hit the AEW radar with her heel turn. I think you can expect a good, if not great, match. My official prediction is that Mariah May will become the new champion and Toni will go off TV for a while, undergoing a character change and face-turn.
Will this be the scene SUNDAY at #AEWAllInLondon when Mariah May and Toni Storm clash for the #AEW Women’s World Championship?!

MJF will defend the AEW World Championship (the AEW International Championship that MJF renamed to match his new gimmick) against Will Ospreay. All of Ospreay’s AEW matches have been must-watch, and I don’t foresee anything different here. I believe Ospreay is going to steal the show in this match with his incredible moveset and athleticism. MJF is a great wrestler in his own right and always adds a great heel flair with his tactics. On the most recent episode of Dynamite, Bryan Danielson suggested Will Ospreay bring back the Tiger Driver 91 (Ospreay has retired that move since injuring Danielson). I can see numerous believable false finishes in this one, progressively adding excitement. My official prediction is that after MJF looks strong, Ospreay will make a comeback and have MJF set up for the Tiger Driver, only to decide not to do it the first time, allowing MJF to come back. After further back-and-forth, I see Ospreay hitting it the second time after MJF utilizes a dirty heel antic. Will Ospreay will be the new champion and will restore the title as the AEW International Championship.

Jack Perry and Darby Allin will compete in a coffin match for the AEW TNT Championship. This storyline has had very personal promos and physical segments leading up to this contest. Both men have proven they will put their bodies on the line for our entertainment. While this may not be the match for old-school or traditional wrestling fans, this match is going to be fantastic and there is no doubt they will both leave it in the ring. My official prediction actually came down to two trains of thought: will AEW/The Young Bucks protect their guy and book him to win, or does it really make sense to have Darby Allin lose a coffin match considering his style and gimmick? Tough call for me, so don’t use this one on your bets, but Darby Allin is certainly the more popular superstar and should make them more money than Jack Perry. I predict Darby Allin to be the new AEW TBS Champion.

Mercedes Mone will defend her AEW TBS Championship against Britt Baker. Mercedes has had one of the weakest and most entitled debuts/title reigns in AEW history. With no memorable matches, she has been living on her name. I fear she has more creative control over her booking than most women. I predict Kamille aids in the victory for Mercedes, keeping her ego in check while also not booking the backbone of the AEW women’s division to look too weak.

There will be a Casino Gauntlet match for a future AEW World Championship. Only 5 of the 21 contestants have been named as of this writing – Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, Adam Page, and Evil Uno. I may be overconfident, but this one seems easy. The only man they have been pushing on TV and with obvious connections to the world title picture is “Hangman” Adam Page.

Hook will have a Last Chance match for the FTW Championship against Chris Jericho. If Jericho wins, Hook can never challenge him for this title again. This storyline has certainly been stretched to its limits and feels like it has been going on for ages. Jericho has been getting the better of Hook on TV lately, both physically and with his promos. I believe Hook has to get a payoff after Jericho being on top for so long and making his promos personal. This one is going to be a great match, but I’m not expecting anything we haven’t seen from these two before. My official prediction – new FTW Champion, Hook.
“The Learning Tree” has to be careful for what he wishes for…

The AEW World Tag Team Championship will be on the line in a three-way tag team match. The Young Bucks will look to defend against FTR and The Acclaimed. This match is sure to bring the excitement. I’m sure we will lose count of the amazing high spots, believable false finishes, and a high pace sure to entertain. Rumor has it that it’s time for new tag champions. FTR has come back into the picture recently with heated moments with both sets of opponents, but I feel like The Acclaimed have been entertaining a larger audience for a longer time as of late. It’s my personal feeling that if AEW wants to continue to grow, they need to continue to grow their young talent. The Acclaimed are the most entertaining on the mic of the teams, and their match style may be best received by the younger fans. I feel more confident saying there will be new champions, but my official pick will be The Acclaimed.
The Acclaimed are DONE with the gatekeeping at the top of the #AEW Tag Team division and GUNNING for @youngbucks and #FTR!

The AEW World Trios Championship will be on the line in a four-way ladder match. Twelve of AEW’s best talents in a ladder match are enough to get me excited. It will be The Patriarchy defending against Bang Bang Gang, House of Black, and Pac with Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta). All of these men are capable of providing the highlight of the match, and this has Match of the Night potential. While all teams, in my opinion, are deserving, The Patriarchy are still as hot as ever and are on a fresh roll as Trios Champions. I predict Christian Cage, in particular, will climb the ladder to grab the titles.

The main event is a Title vs. Career match for the AEW World Championship. Bryan Danielson has put his career on the line to challenge Swerve Strickland for the title. This is going to be a classic, all-time match that I don’t think anyone should miss. Bryan Danielson announced earlier this year that he plans to retire from full-time action and has been on a mission to put on some of the best matches of his already legendary career. Swerve, on the other hand, has been can’t-miss since signing with AEW, showing both his technical prowess and his ability to fight a hardcore style. If both men aren’t bloody by the end of this, it will be a huge surprise. Typical wrestling tradition would usually see a legend losing to someone they respect on the way out, but then we remember that AEW gave a title to Sting in his retirement match. It comes back to Danielson specifically stating that he is retiring from “full-time” wrestling while saying earlier this year that he is planning his exit. If Adam Page wins the gauntlet match and earns a title shot, his biggest rivalry is with Swerve, and he has been calling him out personally. I also think Danielson is too much of a purist not to lose in his retirement match. After every ounce of sweat and blood is on the mat, I see Swerve retaining the title, followed by a very emotional moment afterward.
