AEW Dynamite opened with the new AEW International Champion, MJF, in the ring for a promo. He talked about how easy it was to defeat Will Ospreay. He also made some very personal digs at Ospreys’ recently deceased grandmother. MJF moved on to presenting a new championship design, saying the old belt was garbage—just like everyone who had ever held it. He renamed it the American Championship, and it displayed a very patriotic design. Will Ospreay crashed the party, and MJF made a quick escape. Ospreay announced he had been granted a championship rematch at All In.

Chris Jericho would defend the FTW Championship against Minoru Suzuki. This match started with several minutes of chops at maximum effort back and forth. Jericho would even start to bleed from the chops alone. The two would chop all the way through the commercial break and still be at it when the show cut back in. They would eventually take the fight to the outside and start with some stiff chair shots. The two would continue a very stiff contest until Jericho hit Suzuki with a legal low blow, which allowed him to hit his finisher and secure a pinfall victory. Suzuki would get his revenge after the match, hitting a Gotch-Style Piledriver. Big Bill and Brian Keith would appear to jump Suzuki, who was then saved by Shibata.

Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker were the next to compete. This was a fairly good match with some good back-and-forth action. Britt Baker reversed Shida’s finisher into her own Lockjaw finisher to secure the victory. Mercedes Mone came out after the match and declared that Baker still would not get a title shot. Baker was then blindsided by the debuting Camille. She seems to have some sort of partnership or friendship with Mone.

Pac versus Boulder would be next. Outside of a couple of moves, this was a squash match. Pac wins very easily.

Mariah May would get to beat up a local who was already in the ring and didn’t even get a name graphic. Toni Storm would appear after the match, and the two would be forced apart by staff.

“Blood & Guts” would be the main event. In short, this is a match involving two rings inside one large steel cage, and each five-member team will have someone join the match at regular intervals. The match doesn’t start until all members are in the match. Jack Perry would start the match for The Elite, and Team AEW would open with Darby Allin. Perry would hit Allin in the head with a steel chair when he was coming into the ring during his entrance and would beat him all around the outside. They would then fight all throughout the crowd before finally making it into the ring officially. The first man to join them was Nicholas Jackson (The Elite). He brought a very mysterious briefcase to the ring. With the early numbers advantage, they would ensure Darby took plenty of punishment. Mark Briscoe would be the next man up, coming in hot to make up for lost time. He was quick to introduce a ladder and throw Nicholas Jackson into it. Matthew Jackson would be the next entrant, and he would also have a strange briefcase. Mark Briscoe would be the first to have an obvious cut. Anthony Bowens would be next for Team AEW and would look to avenge his bloodied teammate. This would quickly become extreme, with tacks and scissors utilized. Kazuchika Okada would be next for The Elite. Max Caster followed that for Team AEW. Razor wire was introduced and put to use on multiple participants. The Elite’s final member would be Adam Page, but he was nowhere to be found when his music hit, and the match would continue. Team AEW’s final member, Swerve Strickland, would come out to his music only to be hit from behind by Adam Page on the entrance ramp. Hangman would tie up Swerve to the outside of the cage and relentlessly beat him. The Young Bucks would get on the mic and tell Hangman to get in the ring. The door would get locked with Swerve tied up outside, and the match would officially begin. Swerve would eventually get cut down and force his way into the ring. He would introduce a staple gun but receive a low blow from behind when he went to use it. We would get to see inside one of the briefcases, which was full of staple guns. Four people would take turns driving staples into Swerve. Swerve would somehow laugh it off, delivering a staple to a neck and a staple to a face. Bowens would have a huge high spot, falling off the side of the cage through four tables. Darby Allin would also hit a huge coffin drop off the top of the cage. Jack Perry would then end up handcuffed to the cage and get hit viciously many times. Darby Allin would then cover Jack Perry in gasoline and give him the option to quit. The Young Bucks would quit for him because he was going to accept the flames.
Darby Allin wants his TNT Championship Match at #AEWAllIn and will set Jack Perry ON FIRE to get it!
