The Greenville Drive was rained on Friday night vs the Bowling Green Hot Rods and played a double header on Saturday. In Game 1 the Drive was able to shut out the Hot Rods 5-0 when Alan Castro hit a triple to get the Drive on the board first. Then Luis Ravelo was able to put up a sacrifice fly and get the run in to make 2-0. The Drive got another score when MIKEY ROMERO hit a huge blast making it 3-0 Drive over the Hot Rods. The Drive added another homerun to make it 4-0 before getting another insurance run to win 5-0.

The next game the Drive played from behind for pretty much the entire game till the 7th when the Drive was able to come back from down to tie the game to send it to extra innings, as in double headers they only play 7 regular innings. The Hot Rods was able to get the game winner in the 8th inning 5-4 and split the double header in front of a great crowd Saturday night.
