WWE Raw after King and Queen of the Ring would open with Ludwig Kaiser introducing the new King of the Ring, Gunther. Gunther would then come to the ring and mention that now that he won, he gets a shot at Damian Priest and his championship. Gunther stated he would bring prestige to the title because he doesn’t need a shortcut (like a Money in the Bank cash-in) to win. This, of course, would bring Priest to the ring. Damian would mention how Randy Orton’s shoulders were not down for three when he won the tournament. If Priest is champion at Summer Slam, the two will face off, but first, Priest has to defend against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle. Drew McIntyre would make his appearance during this segment. When he claimed he will win the title in three weeks, Gunther decided to excuse himself and let these two battle it out. The two would take turns on the mic before Braun Strowman decided to come to the ring. The two men in the ring would scatter as a commercial hit.

After the commercial, Braun Strowman would have a match against JD McDonagh. Braun would utilize the size difference immediately, throwing JD around and slapping him silly. McDonagh would eventually hit one offensive move, a toe drag reversal into the ring post to take the match into the commercial. After the break, Judgment Day would be using heel antics and the numbers advantage to distract the referee and gain the advantage. Braun would prove to be too powerful, single-handedly taking out all of them.

Ricochet and Ilja Dragunov would face off in a rematch that saw the two compete in the King of the Ring tournament. The prior match was one of the best of the whole tournament, and the two looked to repeat the success. The two would deliver another great match with stiff striking, a fast pace, and dangerous high spots. The reversals into believable false finishes were top tier. Sadly, this match was thrown out when Bron Breakker showed up and speared both men. What was a great rematch turned into a segment to try and show how uncontrollable and powerful Bron Breakker is.

The Authors of Pain would take on The Creed Brothers in tag-team action. AOP would win surprisingly easily and quickly, considering The Creed Brothers have been putting on some good matches.
The Authors of Pain defeat the Creed Brothers in a normal fight, with which the push attempt of the Final Testament follows. The Creeds are waiting for another story. #WWERAW

Sheamus would come to the ring in streetwear for a promo for the next segment. He would address how Ludwig Kaiser injured his knee in the King of the Ring tournament and that he was back for him. Kaiser would address Sheamus but from the back on the jumbotron. Sheamus would run to the back looking for him, where Kaiser would blindside him. The two would brawl back onto the entrance ramp before being pulled apart by WWE officials.

Kairi Sane versus Lyra Valkyria was the next matchup. Lyra would be slowed down, nursing injured ribs. This would aid some dominance by Sane early, but Lyra would reverse the InSane Elbow to secure the victory.

Rey Mysterio would go one-on-one with Carlito. The two would have a good back and forth in a decent match. Finn Balor would come to the aid of Carlito, taking out Dragon Lee on the outside before being taken out by Rey. It would appear Carlito would have the upper hand, but Rey would pull off a reversal into a 619 to secure the pinfall. Rey and Lee would have Finn set up on the announce table before Damian Priest joined the fray and cleared the house himself. Priest has been upset with the other members of Judgment Day and their underperforming as of late.

Bronson Reed would go against Otis in the next match. Chad Gable blames Otis for his loss at King and Queen of the Ring and said this would be his chance to redeem himself. Otis would have Reed on his back and start dancing, the normal prelude to his finisher when Chad Gable would angrily come to the apron, yelling at Otis to get serious and stop dancing. This was enough time for Bronson Reed to recover and take advantage of a distracted Otis. After the match, Chad Gable would call all of Alpha Academy to the ring. Gable would tell Otis he was going to discipline him in front of everyone, pulled his belt off, and told him to grab the rope. Otis would actually line up for a spanking, but Maxxine would stop the blow. Gable would send Maxxine to the back and get ready to spank Otis again before Sami Zayn would come to the ring. Zayn would wrestle the belt from the grasp of Chad Gable before asking Otis how much more he was going to take. Gable would jump Zayn mid-sentence when he was trying to get through to Otis. Gable would beat Sami senseless before all of Alpha Academy would leave him lifeless, despite the ongoing internal turmoil with Otis, who continues to be hesitant in following the heel antics of Chad Gable.

The main event was a Steel Cage Match: Becky Lynch against Liv Morgan. Liv just defeated Becky Saturday for the title, and Becky wasn’t long in invoking her rematch. This match failed to live up to the expectations of a main event steel cage match. Dominik Mysterio would come down and open the door in an attempt to aid Becky Lynch to win. Finn and JD would come and tell Dom he was doing the wrong thing when Braun came chasing JD, as he had been all night. This resulted in the open-door hitting Becky Lynch, allowing Liv to escape the cage and retain.
