Roderick Strong will defend his AEW International Championship against Will Ospreay. Ospreay has been putting on a wrestling clinic since signing with AEW, delivering must-see match after must-see match, but Roderick Strong has gotten the better of him lately on TV, even leaving him gushing blood. Roderick will likely have the numbers of Undisputed Kingdom at his side, so Ospreay certainly has his hands full. Roderick Strong is an excellent wrestler in his own right, so this match is sure to be another classic. Ospreay has been on a roll far too hot to slow down, so give me Will Ospreay after overcoming multiple interference attempts.

Toni Storm will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Serena Deeb. This storyline has failed to gain any traction, despite plenty of TV time. Serena Deeb has failed to get over with the audience, despite being known as a great technical wrestler. Toni Storm continues to be an AEW favorite and certainly the bigger draw of the two. Give me Toni Storm to retain.

Let’s move on to the Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match for the AEW TNT Championship. Adam Copeland will attempt to retain against House of Black member Malakai Black. Malakai appears to have both the in-ring skills and a great gimmick. Adam Copeland has failed to reach the shine he once had in WWE. As much as Black is the better talent, Copeland is the bigger name for AEW. I believe AEW will use the barbed wire cage as a way to keep this one-on-one (it would appear to be House of Black versus Kyle O’Reilly for friends of the competitors). AEW leans into name-brand products, so give me Adam Copeland to retain.

Jon Moxley will take on Konosuke Takeshita in an IWGP World Heavyweight Championship Eliminator match where, if Takeshita wins, he will receive a future IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match. It feels a little strange to have this non-title match on the AEW PPV. That being said, both these men will surely bring the violence. Takeshita has been pushed with the aid of Don Callis. I get a bit out of my element discussing New Japan, but I believe this is leading to something over there. I predict Takeshita in a dirty finish.
Mox is a man of few words…

In a storyline involving the demise of The Best Friends, Orange Cassidy will take on Trent Beretta in an attempt to redeem the injured Chuck Taylor. It doesn’t appear the Trent Beretta heel-turn is going as well as AEW would have hoped, the story seeming rather lackluster. That being said, these two are certainly capable of putting on a PPV-quality match. It seems a lock Orange Cassidy will avenge his fallen Best Friend.
The FTW Championship will be on the line in a Three-way FTW Rules Match between Chris Jericho, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata. Chris Jericho recently defeated Hook for the title and has rebranded it “For The World” as he rebrands himself as “The Learning Tree”. This story has had very little to do with Shibata. While he is the best in-ring talent of the three, I feel it is easy to rule him out. Hook’s run as FTW Champion fell flat, and Jericho has been recruiting new talent for his Learning Tree. Big Bill will be coming to the ring with him, and I see Jericho getting his aid to retain, leading to the two having a rivalry and splitting ways down the road.

The Unified AEW World Trios Championship will also be on the line as Bullet Club Gold defends against the newly reunited Death Triangle. Bullet Club Gold has had a nice and lengthy run as champions with an extended storyline with The Acclaimed. Since then, the trios’ titles have seemed to lack direction. Death Triangle lost traction early due to injury, and it’s nice to see them back together. They are three of the best to ever do it, bringing both brutality and high-flying. It’s time for a change, it’s time for Jay White to make a singles push, it’s Death Triangle’s time to win the AEW Unified Trios Championship.
It's ON!

Mercedes Mone will make her in-ring debut for AEW, challenging Willow Nightingale for her AEW TBS Championship. Willow has done a great job elevating the title to new heights since the last couple of champions, and these two have a good history and storyline to add to the drama. Willow injured Mercedes in Japan to win a title, and it appears what goes around comes around. AEW is going to push the bigger name, not to mention this leads to an epic trilogy match between them. Mercedes Mone will be the new AEW TBS Champion.

The Anarchy in the Arena match will feature The Elite versus Team AEW (Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin, and FTR). The Young Bucks have been flexing their EVP powers in many ways while helping out all members of The Elite, making plenty of enemies along the way. This would appear to be a classic fight-the-power storyline, and after all the positive booking on TV for The Elite, it’s hard not to imagine a payoff for Team AEW.

Swerve Strickland will defend his AEW World Championship against Christian Cage in the main event. Christian was on a great roll before this storyline and looks to continue his momentum into the main title picture. Cage even had the Mogul Embassy betray Swerve and left Swerve bleeding on TV. As great as Christian is doing, it’s hard to see Swerve losing his title this quickly, especially in a storyline only a few weeks deep. I’m predicting a great match, with Swerve putting on an entertaining show, fighting off all the people Christian may have trying to help him, to retain his championship.
