Raw opened this week with Cody Rhodes cutting a promo, asking if the people have his back when he tries to make history at WrestleMania. As Cody was pointing at the WrestleMania sign, The Rock’s music would hit, and he would make his way down to the ring. He would only whisper something to Cody that nobody could hear. The two would face-off before The Rock just walked back the way he came. Confusing interaction between Cody Rhodes and The Rock. What did he say?

Ricochet would take on JD McDonagh. Ricochet would deliver once again, with his high-flying moveset and video game-like abilities. WWE really needs to find a way to maximize his in-ring skills. He has no story or promotion to take his matches to the next level.

CM Punk would make an appearance, injury and all. He would include Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre before Drew would decide to make his way down to the ring. The two would go tit-for-tat, making good digs at each other. One moment deserves exact details. McIntyre would mention being the chosen one before CM Punk told him to say the name of the man that chose him (I’m sure you’ve heard the Vince McMahon sexual allegations by now). Seth Rollins would decide to join the two in the ring. CM Punk would end up with the last word – announcing he will be on commentary for the match between Rollins and McIntyre at WrestleMania (also claiming it will make them more relevant than anything else ever could). Drew would interrupt Punk’s music, saying Punk isn’t getting the last word, he isn’t even wrestling at WrestleMania. Seth Rollins would take advantage of the distracted Drew McIntyre, ending up in a curb stomp to have his music playing heading into the commercial break.
Will @DMcIntyreWWE be dreaming broken dreams at #WrestleMania or will @WWERollins have his days numbered with that World Heavyweight Championship? pic.twitter.com/fWCAodmBAI

Ivy Nile would take on Candice LeRae in an attempt to bring respect back to her friend, Maxxine Dupree, who Candice was very disrespectful towards. Candice LeRae would win via a sneaky pinfall after faking an injury, with her feet also illegally using the ropes for leverage. This continues the storyline between Candice and Indi, as Indi continues to show signs of not being comfortable with LeRae’s heel antics.

DIY would take on New Day in tag-team action, with Awesome Truth on commentary. All 3 teams are in the WWE Tag Team Championship Ladder Match at WrestleMania. This match wouldn’t go on for long, before Judgement Day would run down the ramp and spoil the match. The 4 men of Judgment Day would clear house before focusing on R-Truth. Truth would put up a valiant effort, but it was not enough. He would take a Razor’s Edge to end the segment.
The New Day vs. D-X up next on #WWERaw?!

Andrade would take on Vinci in a fairly quick match to win his match on Monday Night Raw. Andrade would look great, in the best shape of his life and using a finisher he is calling “The Message”.

Rhea Ripley would make her way to the ring with “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio to cut a promo in hype of her upcoming title defense, against Becky Lynch, at WrestleMania. It would not take long for “The Man” to interrupt the champion and join them in the ring. Becky would get emotional when Rhea would mention Becky’s daughter calling her Mami. Becky would drop Dominik and she would end up in a brawl with Rhea Ripley. It would take multiple referees (and Dirty Dom) to keep them apart and end the segment.

Big Bronson Reed would take on Sami Zayn. Reed would display his strength and be in control early. As soon as Sami got any control, Gunther made an appearance, which distracted Zayn. This would be enough, as Sami Zayn could not fight back a second time. Reed would hit The Tsunami to secure the pin.

Jey Uso versus Shinsuke Nakamura would be the main event for Raw this week. It wouldn’t be long until yet again, The Bloodline, would come to interrupt the match. Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes would dash to the rescue, preserving the match. Jey Uso would secure a pinfall victory after hitting a spear. After the match Cody would be fighting Jimmy Uso backstage. The Rock would save Jimmy from a beating, and deliver one of his own to Cody. Trash cans, guard rails, and even a tour bus, The Rock would use everything to hurt Cody on his way outside, where he would beat down Cody even further, in the pouring rain. Cody would get cut open, and The Rock would wipe his blood on a special belt, with “Mama Rhodes” written on it.
Speechless. 😲😲😲@TheRock just DESTROYED @CodyRhodes on #WWERaw! Message sent ahead of #WrestleMania. pic.twitter.com/r8HxqrPrSa
