With Elimination Chamber approaching, WWE Raw this week was a great episode that helped paint some pictures for upcoming PPV’s. Let’s take a look.

Raw opened up with a stiff match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. Both men really put in a good effort this night, with many great reversals and false finishes. Wondering how they would finish the match so both guys look good on the road to WrestleMania? The Bloodline, normally on Smackdown, made a surprise appearance on Monday Night Raw to ruin the finish of the match. Drew McIntyre was able to hit his finisher on a distracted Cody Rhodes and get the pinfall victory. How will this affect both of their momentum heading into Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania? We will have to wait and see.

Next up was the last chance battle royale match for the final spot in the women’s Elimination Chamber match. WWE made an attempt at a double trick finish, in which it appeared Racquel Rodriguez won but Chelsea Green must have been hiding, as she rolled back in the ring to confront Racquel who was celebrating. The second half of the double trick had Racquel recover in time to throw Chelsea over and actually being the woman to win the match afterall. Racquel Rodrigez solidified the final spot in the upcoming Elimination Chamber match.

The following match was an 8 man tag-team match, The Judgement Day taking on DIY and Awesome Truth. The Judgement Day ends up getting the pinfall on R-Truth, confirming what we already knew, they are done with R-Truth in The Judgement Day.
Why would you want to be in The Judgment Day when you can be a member of the Cenation?! 🚫👋#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/mWqUsHpVXh

It’s almost like they listened to me complain last week – they booked Ivar for a losing match where he could still have a great match. Ivar and Chad Gable had a decent match showing both are great professionals. The match even had a good false finish. Chad Gable ends up winning via tap-out due to an ankle lock (after hitting a clean moonsault).

The Intercontinental Championship was on the line that night as well, as Gunther defended his title against “Main Event” Jey Uso. Gunther opened the match strong with multiple slaps that he is known for, along with other great strikes and slams. Gunther actually was laying a solid beating on Jey for quite some time, really laying it in there. Jey Uso did eventually make a strong comeback in the match, hitting 5 spears and a 5 star frog splash, only to have his brother, Jimmy Uso, ruin the finish and cost him the match. Raw concluded with Jimmy Uso on top, representing The Bloodline as Raw went off the air.

That’s all for today. We look towards Smackdown later this week for answers. What’s next for The Bloodline? What’s next for Cody? This and much more as we head toward Elimination Chamber.
