Greenville Drive Have Rain Delayed Game Versus Greensboro Grasshoppers

The rain was trying its best to ruin the night, but the Drive and Grasshoppers made sure the game would be played no matter what. The game is a much needed one for the Drive who are trying to get back to the win column and not allow the Grasshoppers a chance to sweep them.

The Grasshoppers would start off scoring every inning to the fifth and had a 7-3 lead with a chance to put it into cruise control and send the Drive home with a loss, but Greenville would start with a huge 7th inning where they would score 5 runs and take the lead and hold on to win 8-7 after a long rain delayed night. The two will face off again on Sunday at Fluor field.
