Greenville Triumph Look to Tame Chattanooga Red Wolves

The Greenville Triumph return back to Paladin Stadium after a West Coast trip where they won 1-0 in entered into seventh place in the playoff race 4-5-4 3points out from the cut line. Enter the Chattanooga Red Wolves who after being in the playoffs last year is now in 11th place and looking to bounce back up in the standings.

The game starts off pretty rough as the weather conditions are awful at kickoff but in the 8th minute the Triumph get a goal as #9 Lyam MacKinnon nails in the goal and the Triumph take the 1-0 lead, but not long after that the Red Wolves get a goal to tie 1-1.

The Triumph get another score in the 16th minute and its now 2-1 as Lyam MacKinnon gets his second score of the night. The striker has been on a tear when on the field and he is ready to unleash it on the Red Wolves Goalie.

The Triumph waste no time once again at the 22nd minute Lyam MacKinnon gets the hat trick with his third goal and its now 3-1 Triumph. The fans that are here fighting the bad weather are getting a real treat given by their hometown team. Lyam got the fastest hat trick in league history and 4th for the Triumph.

Then the young rookie would score yet another goal making him the first in USL history to have a 4-goal game. The Triumph would add another goal at the end to take a 5-1 victory in front of a great crowd considering the awful wet weather conditions.
