The game of the night has arrived based on the attendance with Greenville High School facing Lancaster High School in the Upper State finals. Greenville comes in 26-2 and 9-1 1st in Region 1 4A. beating Catawba Ridge to get the game tonight, while Lancaster 26-3 and 8-2 2nd in Region 3 4A defeated Wade Hampton to get to the Championship game. Before the game starts the two teams almost get into a scuffle, which means this night will be full force contact. The refs tried to keep things down, and even the Lancaster coach was getting a fan response playing to them.

The game starts off with Lancaster getting the first basket and a foul to make it three nothing. Greenville fires back with a three and its tied for only a few seconds as Lancaster scores again to make it 5-3, then too huge scores have it 8-5 Greenville. The two teams are being very physical and Lancaster scores and its 8-7 with Greenville getting the ball taking it down the court for the score 10-7, but Lancaster scores just as quick, its 11-19 Lancaster in the lead, but Greenville hits a 3 and its 13-11 Greenville after a huge amount of steals back and forth. The two battle back scores and its 13-14 Lancaaster with a foul, they get both and it is 16-13 Lancaster in the lead. Greenville takes back the lead at the 40 second mark but Lancaster shots and scores and we are tied at 18 with under 30 seconds, Greenville scores and its 20-18 and they get a turnover at the other end, and its the end of the first quarter.

Second quarter begins with Lancaster getting the bucket and its 20-20 tie. Lancaster gets another steal and score fast 22-20 then 24-20 with 5 minutes left in the first half. The crowd has been really into this game as both sides have a great following. its now 28-24 Lancaster with Greenville battling to get back in the game. There is 2 minutes left in the first half, and now its down to 13 and the score is 24-33 Lancaster.
