Greenville Drive Return Home After Huge Series Win Versus Asheville

The Greenville Drive really needed the road trip last week as they won their first series of the year and come back to Greenville Tuesday night on a 3-game win streak. Plus, they have the hottest player in Single A SS Marcelo Mayer, the #1 prospect in the Red Sox farm system, and sure to be called up with the numbers he produced this past weekend. Mayer Sunday went 4-4 with a homerun, 2 doubles and 2 RBIs, his series vs. Asheville .516 AVG, 3 HRs, 16H, 6 2B, 12 RBIs, and 31 total bases.

Starting Tuesday night, we begin a new battle with Winston-Salem which is sure to be another great battle between two great teams. The Dash are the South Atlantic South Division leaders and will be bringing great pitching and good fire power at the plate, and Greenville will need to answer the call and rise to the occasion to win the series.
