Swamp Rabbits Look to Tie Series with Iceman

The Swamp Rabbits look to take back a win from Jacksonville tonight at The Well with a expected great crowd on hand to cheer them on. The first half was full hits, fights and just one score by the Iceman and the score going into the 2nd period stands at 1-0 Iceman over the Rabbits.

The second period brings new life to the Rabbits as they score when Joe Leahy gets his first professional goal. The period had two penalty box visits and at the end of the period the Iceman wanted to fight, and the fans really was ready to see it break out. The Refs made sure to settle but for sure another penalty box visit will be a part of the start of the third period.

As we go into the third period the Rabbits are now in control with two quick goals, the first by Ben Freeman with a assist by Brannon McManus, then the next goal by Justin Nachbaur with a assist by Ethan Somoza and the score is now 3-1 with 15 minutes left to play.

The Rabbits lead on SOG 23 to 14 in the game as the Iceman are starting to lose control of the game. With that said, the Rabbits hold on to win 3-1 and tie the series with the Iceman.
