Wake Forest held Presbyterian (1-1) to just 18 points in the second half and marked their largest margin of victory since last season’s opening night win over Queens. Freshman guard Milan Brown led the Deacs with 14 points and recorded back-to-back double-digit games as a freshman for the first time since Madisyn Jordan on Nov. 18 against BYU and Nov. 20 against Saint Louis. Earning career-highs in two separate categories, sophomore forward Kennedy Moore recorded seven rebounds and a team best four assists against the Blue Hose.

Coach Speak:
“Overall, a solid performance and better shooting percentage. Everyone contributed to this one. It was great to see different people step up today. We controlled the paint on both ends of the floor, scoring 46 points in the paint is impressive. When we didn’t score there, we were able to get to the line. The rebounding has been good through two games, and I am happy with how we are progressing there. Now, we need to settle in and focus on Sunday to keep this strong start to the season going.” – Megan Gebbia
