The #4 Anderson Trojans Men’s Soccer team (8-0-4, 5-0-2 SAC) will head up Hwy25 to the North Greenville Trailblazers (8-3-3, 5-2-3 CCA) in an out of conference match-up the last for both teams this season. Anderson is looking to keep its unbeaten streak alive in this match versus a very well coached Trailblazers team,

Both teams in the first half put on a excellent show of defense, and we have a shutout on both sides going into halftime with the Trojans having 3 shots on goal while also having 3 saves, while committing 8 fouls. North Greenville would have 5 shots on goal while only needing 1 save with 7 fouls in the first half.

However, the Trojans came out of halftime very aggressive, scoring two goals to lead 2-0. In the 76th minute, the Trailblazers would put up a fight as Enrico Onzi put NGU on the scoreboard with an assist by Jacob Marino. North Greenville would go on to match the Trojans in total shots in the second half with eleven. The Trailblazers nearly completed the comeback as a shot would bounce off the post, and the final shot would prove to be close but wide left as time would expire with Anderson hanging on for the win.
