Virginia Shocks #8 FSU 46-38

The Virginia Cavaliers (4-1) have pulled off a huge upset of the Florida State Seminoles in a week 5 matchup. The Cavaliers scored in every quarter including 11 points in double overtime to take down #8 FSU.

Chandler Morris was 26/35 for 229 yards 2 touchdowns passing and 3 touchdowns rushing and 3 interceptions, while J’Mari Taylor had 27 carries for 99 yards and a touchdown to lead the Cavaliers to a huge win. Trell Harris and Jahmal Edrine both was tied with 45 yards a piece as 9 different receivers touched the ball for Virginia.

Devin Neal led the defense with 12 tackles with 3 solo, while getting help from Kam Robinson with 10 tackles 2 solo and one sack. Virginia played a bend but don’t break defense to keep the Seminoles in check all night and put the Cavaliers in first place for now in the ACC at (4-1, 2-0 ACC).

Next up for Virginia is October 4th match up trip to Louisville in yet another battle for the top of the ACC. The game is set for 3:30pm at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium. The Cardinals at this moment are Vegas odd favorites to win the game.
