The 2025 NCAA Champions will receive their championship rings prior to Stefan Dostanic’s primetime match Monday night at 6:30 p.m.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The 2025 NCAA Champion Wake Forest men’s tennis team will be celebrated on Monday night (Aug. 18) at the Wake Forest Tennis Center during the Winston-Salem Open. The Demon Deacons will be honored in a special on-court ceremony and receive their national championship rings prior to Stefan Dostanic’s primetime singles match scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

All Wake Forest students, faculty and staff will receive a special 50% off discount for Monday’s session and can be purchased here.

In addition to Dostanic earning a singles wild card, rising senior DK Suresh Ekambaram and rising junior Luca Pow will be returning to the main doubles draw after making a run to the semifinals a year ago. Their first-round match is slated for Wednesday.

Suresh will be looking to earn a spot in the main singles draw as he takes on Alejandro Tabilo in the final qualifying round today (Aug. 17) at 1 p.m.

The recognition comes after one of the most dominant seasons in collegiate tennis history, as Wake Forest posted a program- and ACC-record 40-1 overall record, claimed both the ITA National Indoor and NCAA team championships, and earned its second NCAA title in program history (2018, 2025).

Led by 2025 ITA National Coach of the Year Tony Bresky, the Demon Deacons became just the fourth program ever to win both the ITA and NCAA championships in the same season more than once.
From godeacs.com
The 2025 championship was clinched with a 4-2 victory over No. 2-seeded TCU in Waco, Texas. Tournament MVP Dostanic delivered two top-10 singles wins in three days, including a straight-set victory over No. 8 Jack Pinnington in the final. Rising senior DK Suresh Ekambaram secured the championship point with a win over No. 10 Pedro Vives.

Wake Forest finished the season with an unprecedented 79-21 doubles record, winning 38 of 41 opening points, and 138-42 in singles play. Five Demon Deacons earned All-ACC honors, and three singles players finished the season ranked in the ITA poll.

Stay tuned to http://GoDeacs.com and the Wake Forest Men’s Tennis social account for more information on match times involving your Demon Deacons.
