The Furman Paladins Women’s Lacrosse (8-3. 2-1 Big South play host to the Longwood Lancers (1-10, 1-3 Big South) in action Saturday. It starts off with Furman right out the gate getting goal from Anna Rosier and by the first media timeout Furman is ahead 3-0 with 9:47 left in the first period. The seven-minute mark has Furman scoring a goal and bringing the game to a 5-1 score as Furman is making its way to a strong first half performance. Longwood battles back into the game with a goal by #28 and it is 5-2 with just over 5 minutes left in the game. The Paladins get another goal at the 22 second mark and the score is 6-4 as Longwood has started to get back in the game.

Furman in the start of the second period jumps out to a 8-4 lead with 11 minutes left before halftime. The Paladins get yet another #18 gets a goal to make it 9-4 in the second half. Furman heads into halftime with a 10-7 lead as Anna Rosier and the Lady Paladins are enjoying a hard-earned halftime lead.
