The Furman Paladins came into the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium hoping to end the horrors they have encountered in the past versus the team that came into BSWA and stole one from them. PJay Smith would have an all-star game with 26 points, 3 assist, 4 steals and 3 rebounds, oh and they game winning 3-point shot with 1.1 seconds left for the 78-75 win.

Furman who had lead by as many as 17 points and most of the game until the final 3 minutes, now will head into the Southern Conference tournament as the #5 seed while Wofford will now be the #6 seed heading to Asheville, N.C. Wofford was led by seniors Corey Tripp 16 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assist, with Kyler Filewich having 16 points,1 assist and 11 rebounds in the game.

Furman also had great performances in the game by senior Garrett Hien who was silent in the first half but had clutch shots and gave a crazy amount of energy to his teammates as well as driving the Wofford fans on edge. The “Hienster” had 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assist in the game, while Nick Anderson helped out with 21 points, and giving amazing defense along with the rest of the Paladins in the game.
