Former Furman Basketball Standout Slawson is now a Detroit Piston

Jalen Slawson who last year was a Sacramento King is now a member of the Detroit Pistons NBA 2K25 Summer League 2024. Slawson who was the 54th pick overall in the second round of the 2023 NBA draft became a unrestricted free agent at the end of June after declining the Kings to renew his contract.

Slawson was able to post 13.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game for the Stockton Kings of the NBA G League. Slawson helped guide Furman to a 28-8 record and a SoCon title in his last year.
