MRI reveals more info on Harris
The #Braves today selected OF Ramón Laureano to the major league roster and placed OF Michael Harris II on the 10-day injured list with a strained left hamstring. To make room on the 40-man roster, Atlanta transferred RHP Spencer Strider to the 60-day injured list.

Michael Harris II has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 strain in his hamstring after suffering an injury while running the bases this weekend. On Saturday, Snitker stated that there is no clear timeline for the center fielder’s return but that he could be out for “a long time.”
Several pitchers progressing
The #Braves today selected RHP Grant Holmes to the major league roster. The club also recalled RHP Huascar Ynoa to Atlanta and placed him on the 60-day injured list with a right elbow stress reaction. LHP Ray Kerr was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett following yesterday’s game.

Ian Anderson will be making a rehab start on Tuesday according to reports. The 26-year-old pitcher will throw in the Flordia Complex League. Anderson missed all of last year while recovering from Tommy John Surgery.
AJ Minter has been throwing long toss and is going to throw a bullpen next, according to Braves manager Brian Snitker. The reliever was placed on the 15-day injured list with left hip inflammation at the end of May. If everything goes well in his bullpen session, he could begin a rehab assignment soon.

The team placed pitching prospect Hurston Waldrep on the 15-day injured list with inflammation in his elbow on Monday. Before the injury designation, the rookie was going to be optioned back to the minor leagues following his start on Sunday, but he then reported elbow soreness after hearing of his demotion.
AJ Smith-Shawver’s recovery is now estimated to take around eight weeks after he went on the 15-day IL with an oblique strain following his first major-league start of the season on May 23. His estimated return is set for August.
Huscar Ynoa was transferred to the big-league’s 60-day IL with elbow inflammation after previously holding a spot-on Triple-A Gwinnett’s 7-day IL. He was working his way back after missing all of 2023 after a UCL replacement surgery in 2022, but that comeback bid hit yet another roadblock now with elbow issues.
Atlanta placed Jimmy Herget on the 15-day injured list Saturday with right shoulder inflammation. The Braves acquired him from the Los Angeles Angels at the beginning of May.
