Lipscomb is up to bat and is able to get several players on base but is unable to score so we head to the bottom of the second with Georgetown up to bat. Georgetown gets a player on first but the next batter bunts and gets thrown out and the runner on second gets caught in a rundown, hit to the pitcher and we head to the third inning with both teams having a hit but no runs 0-0 is our score.

We head to the bottom of the third with the Hoyas hoping to get some runs. Georgetown gets three outs and the last one with a batter batting out of order a huge mistake and gets a automatic out, and we head to the fourth inning of play with Lipscomb ahead 1-0. Georgetown gets a triple when then left fielder miss judges the ball diving for it and has a runner in scoring position. They get a double when Brenna Sherman nails it over the third baseman scoring a run and we are tied at 1-1 with two outs and that will be all in the inning.
