Kentucky Wildcats are 2-0 in SEC, 12-2 overall with back-to-back SEC wins over Florida and Missouri. Kentucky enters the game with the Aggies on a hot streak. The past week hasn’t been kind to teams in the Top ten and Kentucky is looking to avoid being the next victim. Top ranked Purdue, second ranked Houston, third ranked Kansas and fifth ranked Tennessee all lost Tuesday or Wednesday night in upsets. Kentucky will be trying to avoid that disaster and win back-to-back road games in the SEC.
No. 6 Kentucky hits the road tomorrow as they head to College Station for a big time matchup against Texas A&M.

Here is One Play From EVERY Kentucky Basketball WIN Over Texas A&M Since 2013. pic.twitter.com/1jMzt7yAG4
This is a must win game for Texas A&M with losses to LSU and Auburn and will look to avoid a 0-3 start in SEC play. Texas A&M is trending in the wrong direction and will most likely play desperate and as a team who is looking for a win to gain momentum. Texas A&M ranks first nationally in offensive rebounds per game (18.3 RPG) and offensive rebounding percentage at (44.6). One of the main reasons for the offensive rebounding is Texas A&M doesn’t particular shoot the basketball very well and has more offensive rebounding opportunities.
Saturday. Be early. Pack Reed. 👍

Buzz Williams always has a tough and aggressive team who relies on defense and ball pressure. Kentucky will have to play another game like they had at Florida to get out of Reed Arena with a win. The Wildcats guard play vs A&M defensive pressure will be an interesting matchup to watch. Wade Taylor and Tyrece Radford lead the Aggies in this contest at the guard position and Kentucky will counter with DJ Wagner, Reed Sheppard, Rob Dillingham, and Antonio Reeves. This key matchup is in favor of Kentucky; however, they will have to play its best game in order to win.
Two Wildcats, @ToniooReeves and @reed_sheppard, are on the @WoodenAward Midseason Top 25 Watch List.

The Big X factor is Tre Mitchell, the former West Virginia transfer who has had four straight double double games. Mitchell has been a huge plus for Kentucky in some of these key games going into SEC play.
Which will happen first? Kentucky’s guards making plays or Texas A&M defensive pressure? This should be a fun game Saturday afternoon in Reed Arena.
