Tonight’s SummerSlam could be a great night for the WWE depending on how its matches turn out, as many fans are ready for the new blood to begin, and for the matches to be all A’s. Here is the list of matches tonight and my predictions on the winners:
SummerSlam 2023 Match Card
Tribal Combat for Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jey Uso
WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Finn Bálor
WWE Women’s Championship Triple Threat: Asuka (c) vs. Bianca Belair vs. Charlotte Flair
Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
Ricochet vs. Logan Paul
MMA Rules: Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler
SummerSlam Battle Royal
Match 1: SummerSlam Battle Royal is a interesting one but it only seems right LA Knight wins this as he is the hottest star in WWE at this moment. If they don’t capitalize on this, then it could cause fans to turn.

Match 2: Rousey vs. Baszler could actually be a B match as both are going to go MMA in this match so that means what we get may surely be fast and with Rousey taking time off, a fake injury may be the ticket.

Match 3: Ricochet vs. Logan Paul is really simple its time Logan Paul gets back in the win column as a major heel star in WWE. This match was really just pushed into the card, so it just makes sense.

Match 4: Gunther vs McIntyre for the IC Championship in my opinion is where we see Drew get a title again after being without one for well over a year. Gunther is being primed to face Rollins for the World title so it’s time to reset the storylines.

Match 5: Rhodes vs. Lesnar will actually last longer than 5 minutes, I’m saying 13 for good measure, Rhodes I feel will get the win and head into another battle as Lesnar will probably head into his time off till the Rumble.

Match 6: Asuka vs. Flair vs. Belair for the WWE Ladies Championship I feel may still the show as this has all the makings of a A+ match and a new champion. I just cant count out Flair on a PPV and she brings it every match.

Match 7: Rollins vs. Balor for the World Heavyweight Title, this match will also be a great battle, but in the end I see a money in the bank interruption at the end which cost Balor, yet Rollins holds on to his title leading to a Judgement Day inner battle.

Match 8: Reigns vs, Jey Uso for the WWE Title and Tribal Chief Naming will come down to Jey winning the match when Solo turns on Reigns and Jey gets the pin as Roman is already projected to take some time off also till possible next year based on his contract. This could also be where Jey when by DQ or the Money in the Bank winner Priest sneaks in after not getting to fully put on Rollins. Lots of great possible storylines could happen. Let’s just see if the WWE gets it right as we head to the fall season of PPVs.
