Greenville, SC: The Southern Conference Media Day for Football kicked off with the annual Football Luncheon and then full steam into a schedule of the new Commissioner giving his news and notes about the conference and its goals moving forward. CBS Sports Caster Pete Yanity will be the guest MC for the event to be shown on ESPN+ around 9:30pm.

List of schools in order are VMI, Samford, Chatt, Mercer, The Citadel, Western Carolina, ETSU, Furman, and Wofford to end the day. Furman Joust is live at the event and will bring you interviews with the players and coaches as they are finished with ESPN needs. Coach Clay Hendrix has a Top 5 FCS team with co captains QB Tyler Huff, and DT Matt Sochovka in attendance.

The Top ranked Paladins was voted #1 this year at Media Day followed by Samford to represent the SoCon as Champions and both have a strong chance at the playoffs.
