The Greenville Liberty went into tonight’s matchup looking for momentum versus the NC Courage as the season is starting to come to a end, and they are hoping to be a team for the playoffs. The match didn’t start off the way they wanted as in the 17th minute the Courage took a 1-0 lead after a shot got past goalkeeper.

A goal from Sharon Mayes rallied Greenville in the first half 1-1, but the Liberty conceded two goals in the second half as the Courage was just too much to handle in this game.
Not what we wanted but a great effort from the squad.
