Paladins & Wildcats are set for 2029 & 2030 Meetings

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Furman and Davidson are set to renew their football series with a pair of games scheduled for the 2029 and 2030 seasons.

The Paladins and Wildcats will meet on Sept. 1, 2029, in Davidson, N.C., and play Aug. 31, 2030, in Greenville.
The two former Southern Conference foes last played in 1987 in Greenville, in a game won by Furman, 58-3. The Paladins have captured the last 11 meetings and lead the all-time series, 39-15.
Davidson, which competed in the ranks of Southern Conference football from 1936-86, now competes in the Pioneer Football League.
Furman kicks off its 2026 season on Thursday, August 27, when it entertains Anderson in a 7:00 p.m. contest at Paladin Stadium.
