The Anderson Trojans (18-5, 13-2 SAC) head to Catawba to finish out their road season against a team they just beat last week in hopes of a strong finish for the year. Last out the Trojans beat a Coker team for the second time of the season. The Lady Trojans are having a great season and will look to make a statement before the SAC tournament

“I hope we can always appreciate what it takes to win,” head coach Todd Hay said. “Our practices have been very good as of late and we are seeing it carry over into the matches. Yes, there are still areas we need to improve, but I like the effort and positive attitudes we are showing by right now.”

The Trojans would lose the first set to 25-23 then come back and win the next two sets 25-18/25-23 before losing the fourth set 25-18, then get the win in the fifth and final set 15-10 to get out with a huge road win and sweep of Catawba. The Trojans had 106 points, with 56 kills, and a .201 hitting %, with 16 blocks. The Lady Trojans are now 19-5, 14-2 in the SAC heading into the SAC tournament schedule.
