The Anderson Trojans (2-0, 0-0 SAC) come into today’s game with the Tusculum Pioneers (1-1, 0-1 SAC) on a two-game winning streak to start the season, and Tusculum comes off a loss to Lenoir-Rhyne. This is the opening conference game for the Trojans, and they look to keep their winning ways going, while Tusculum is looking to rebound from their 1st conference loss last week.

The Anderson Trojans get the ball first and work the ball down the field and get the first touchdown of the game and we are at 7-0 Trojans in the lead. Tusculum gets the ball and is not able to get a first down while the Trojans defense gets huge tackles for loss and the Pioneers have to kick away.

The Trojans get the ball in great field position and slowly get down the field and get a field goal and lead the game 10-0 with under two minutes left in the game. The kick back off to the Pioneers and hold them again with just under a minute left in the first quarter. We get into the second quarter and Anderson drives the ball down and gets a huge touchdown and is now in the lead 17-0 with just over 6 minutes left in the half.

The Trojans get the ball back right before halftime and march down the field and get a huge touchdown pass and now the Trojans are up 24-0 on the Pioneers at halftime, as Tusculum will need to get answers fast to get back in this game. Anderson Trojans really dominated the first half of play keeping Tusculum from getting any kind of movement and scoring on almost every chance they had with the ball.

The Trojans are able to get a field goal in the 3rd quarter and increase the lead to 27-0 as they start rotating in players for experience and rest starters for next week’s game. The Pioneers was able to get some stops but have yet to cross the Trojans 40-yard line with 13 minutes left in the game. The Trojans get the ball back and go straight down the field and throw a interception in the endzone with 4:31 left in the game. This game is pretty much over with other than Tusculum having a chance to get a score on the board before we leave here today. Anderson is able to shut out the Tusculum Pioneers and got to 3-0 and get its first win in the SAC and Tusculum will go to 1-2 with both losses being in the SAC. Game ends with Anderson winning 30-0!
