Tonight’s match up with Wofford Terriers (8-8, 2-1) versus Furman Paladins (14-2, 2-1) at Bons Secours Wellness Arena is battle of SoCon Rivals. The Paladins have been red hot this year and are looking like the SoCon favorites with only two losses being from Kansas in Kansas and UNC Greensboro last week at Greensboro.

Wofford starts off hot and jumps out to a 17-9 lead with 12:14 left in the first half. Corey Tripp and Justin Bailey lead the way in the opening minutes. Wofford with just over 11 minutes left in the first half leads 20-9 at the media timeout. The Terriers are shooting 66.7% from FG range, 57% from 3-point range and has yet to shoot a FT.

The Terriers have pulled away with 2:24 left in the game to a 77-56 score as Furman has had just poor shooting all night, losing in rebounds, 3PT%, and FG% in this game as Wofford has really come out shooting well with #10 Corey Trip 16 points, 6 rebounds, and Dillion Bailey with 19 points most here in the second half with 6 rebounds. The Terriers go on to win the game 81-62, Wofford had 10 points off turnovers, 30 points in the paint, 15 second chance points, 6 points off fast breaks, and 18 points off the bench. Corey Trip ends with 16 points 6 rebounds, 2 assist, and 2-5 from three-point range.
