The Furman Women’s Basketball team was able to put on another great performance in the non-conference schedule and took down Bob Jones 101-47 on Saturday at Haynes Gym. The Paladins held Bob Jones to under double digits in both the 2nd period and 4th period which was a great defensive performance.

Furman improves to 4-2 on the season and travels to Atlanta, Ga., November 26-28, for the GSU Thanksgiving Tournament. The Paladins will play Campbell, Georgia State, and Purdue Fort Wayne during the holiday tournament. Johnson led seven Paladins in double figures with a game high 19 points and chipped in 11 rebounds. Coyle came off the bench to contribute 11 points and 11 rebounds. Raina McGowens poured in 11 points while Tate Walters, Sydney Ryan, Niveya Henley, and Jaelyn Acker all had 10. Coyle also had five steals, and three different players finished with three assists.
