Furman Faces #1 seed UNCG on Sunday
The 4th seeded Furman Paladins Men’s Soccer team was able to get a 2-0 win over the 5th seed Mercer Bears on Friday night in round 1 of the Southern Conference tournament. Wilfer Bustamante and Lloyd Wamu Snell both was able to score for the Paladins in the victory and Aaron Salinas SoCon Goalkeeper of the Year shut out the Bears in the match.

The Paladins now turn their attention to the UNC Greensboro team ranked the #1 seed in the tournament on Sunday at 2pm on ESPN+ with links and live stream being available on furmanpaladins.com. The winner from the game will face either ETSU or Wofford on the road in the Championship game.
