The Nittany Lions are coming off of an impressive upset straight set win over the fourth ranked Louisville Cardinals at home. They are led by graduate student Jess Mruzik, who reached over 1,500 kills for her career against the Cardinals.

KENTUCKY
• Kentucky is ranked ninth in the nation.
• The Wildcats are the defending champion in the SEC and have made 18 consecutive NCAA Tournaments. They won the 2020-21 NCAA Tournament title.
• The Cats were picked to finish third in the 15-team conference. Senior setter Emma Grome, senior libero Eleanor Beavin, and sophomore outside hitter Brooklyn DeLeye were voted Preseason All-SEC.
• Grome was a second-team All-America selection last year.
