Clemson got the 1-0 score at the 32 minute-mark as Campbell scored an own-goal to put the Tigers on the scoreboard. Seven minutes later, Brathwaite increased the Tiger lead as she scored her first as a Tiger. Sydney Minarik then on the next possession passed the ball to Kam Pickett, who then passed the ball to Brathwaite who got the score kicking past the Campbell goalie. The Tigers would go on to finish the game winning 3-1 and head back to Clemson to rest before taking the bus to Columbia to face the #21 ranked USC Gamecocks in the second game of the Palmetto Series scheduled for 6pm.
