The Anderson Cavaliers (1-0) took a trip up to Gatlinburg, Tennessee to Rocky Top Sports World and came away with a huge win over a archrival from N.C. in the Cabarrus Stallions (0-1) 33-6! A great crowd traveled for both teams, and it was a close back and forth contest till halftime. After halftime the Cavaliers started to take control of the game, even after giving Cabarrus plenty of chances to get back in the game.

Coach Jerry Norris was able to get his first win over the Stallions who had took away two previous games from him in the final minutes. Special teams played great with only one blocked extra point also getting a blocked one also, yet a punt return for a touchdown, and a kickoff run back for a touchdown right after the Stallions scored a touchdown. The Cavaliers showed guts and never let setbacks from INT’s keep them from getting the win.
