The Greenville Drive (45-53) had a huge night versus the Blue Rocks (47-50) to the tone of a 12-0 victory at Fluor field Wednesday night in front of a great crowd. The hits began in the third after both starting pitchers was able to go scoreless, Greenville scored two runs to begin the onslaught of runs. Mikey Romero had a career day with 6 RBI’s, 3rd multihomer game, 3rd four hit game.

Then in the fourth inning, the Drive broke open the run flood gates scoring 5 runs, followed up with 2 runs in the sixth inning making the game 9-0. The score would stay that way till the eighth inning when the Drive would bring home 3 more runs and end it with a 12-0 victory. Winning pitcher for Greenville was Rodriguez-Cruz and losing pitcher was Davis for the Blue Rocks. The two teams will meet up tomorrow night at 7pm, make sure to get your tickets and go watch your hometown Greenville Drive baseball team.
