The Greenville Drive (45-53) had a huge night versus the Blue Rocks (47-50) to the tone of a 12-0 victory at Fluor field Wednesday night in front of a great crowd. The hits began in the third after both starting pitchers was able to go scoreless, Greenville scored two runs to begin the onslaught of runs. Mikey Romero had a career day with 6 RBI’s, 3rd multihomer game, 3rd four hit game.

Then in the fourth inning, the Drive broke open the run flood gates scoring 5 runs, followed up with 2 runs in the sixth inning making the game 9-0. The score would stay that way till the eighth inning when the Drive would bring home 3 more runs and end it with a 12-0 victory. Winning pitcher for Greenville was Rodriguez-Cruz and losing pitcher was Davis for the Blue Rocks.
