Clemson Moves on to Super Regionals, Regional was a Great Showcase of Talent

Clemson on Sunday was able to close out its regional by defeating Coastal Carolina twice in one weekend and moves on to its first Super Regional taking on now winner Florida who was able to win its region Monday night.

Clemson won the game after going into the bottom of the 8th inning 6-5 after a huge homerun and had back-to-back doubles scoring 4 runs and putting the game away with great pitching to seal the deal 12-5 in front of a huge Clemson weekend crowd of over 34,000. Though most of the talk was about a hidden ball trick Clemson pulled to get the Coastal player at third out, Clemson played a great game start to finish, and their coach gave his players all the praise while thanking the fans as well.
