The Greenville Liberty Women’s Soccer Club start off their season vs. the Asheville City SC tonight at Paladin Stadium in front of a great crowd of fans ready for the season to begin.

The team has allot of new faces and brings back Coach Julie Carson who has doing an awesome job at the Liberty since they began. The Liberty play it tough in the first 33 minutes of the game, when Asheville makes a huge mistake and the Defense kicks the ball to the goalie but instead, she misses the kick, and it goes in the net and the Liberty first goal of the season they never touched. The Liberty take a 1-0 lead now as we get closer to halftime.

Liberty gets a huge goal by #99 Dubem Dike to get the first actual goal by a Liberty player this year at the 45th minute right here before halftime. The score is now 2-0 Liberty over the Asheville City FC here at Paladin Stadium with halftime looming.
