Furman Softball after a huge win over ACC Louisville Cardinals 13-8 in Game one of the Bash at the Beach heads into facing Bowling Green Falcons. Furman allows yet another masque to allow the runner on first when SS let the ball get past her. Runner on first and the next batter hits another shot past the short stop who is not able to get the ball and its runners on third and first. Furman is able to get the first out, but a run score and its 1-0 Bowling Green over Furman top of the first. Furman gets and its 1-0 with two outs thanks to Alex Rose Molinar. BGSU gets a huge shot between the left field and another runner on first and second base. BGSU hits a shot up the middle and scores another run and its runners at first and second and a run scored 2-0 Bowling Green. Furman gets out of the inning with a 2-0 deficit to Bowling Green.

Furman gets a runner on first then an over to second on a bunt now with 1 out. Furman gets another batter on base and Game 1 all-star Kiley Perry is up to bat and is safe at first but the runner at second is out. Bowling Green gets out of the inning without a score so its 2-0 top of the second inning. Furman is able to score 3 runs in the third and we are at 3-2 Furman in the lead.

Furman brings in #11 to pitch Taylor Miller and they have two runners on base with no outs. The bases are loaded with no outs now after a walk, and Furman has to get this batter out and get the game back at hand. Bowling Green is able to get another run, but the second runner is thrown out. Furman then gets the next batter out but yet gives up another run and the Falcons are ahead 4-3 with two outs top of the third. Furman gets the final out but allows the lead to go away, BGSU heads to the bottom of the inning holding a 1 run lead. Furman goes 3 up and 3 down as Bowling Green is playing great ball right now. Furman pitching and fielding will have to be better this inning to keep it close.
Bowling Green with two outs gets a two-run blast to make the game 6-3 and Furman is struggling to get out of innings right now. Bowling Green gets another runoff a single and now its 7-3 Falcons over the Paladins Furman finally gets the last out, and the two out run issues still are a part of the issue. Coach Stacey will get her team settled down and be ready to get the problems under control next inning. Furman needs runs this inning to stay close to the Falcons. The Falcons are really shutting down Furman and we are on to the fifth inning 7-3 Falcons over Paladins.

New Pitcher for Furman #10 Angelina Ricciardi and she quickly gets two outs and now we are at the point can she close out the inning and get the Paladins back in the game. She gets the batter to pop up and Furman gets out of the inning without a run gave up. Furman is shut down in the fifth and we head to the 6th inning with Bowling Green leading still 7-3.

Furman is able to keep Bowling Green scoreless for two innings straight and giving them a chance to catch up if they can. They have been held to 0 runs since the second inning and need to get the bats hot again after a huge Game 1 score of 14 runs. We head to the top of the 7th inning and Furman is got to get three quick outs and then get 5 hits. Rain delay as a bad cloud has come over the field.
Play resumes in the top of the 7th inning between Furman and Bowling Green, Furman needs to get these 3 outs and Furman is able to get two quick outs and now its if they can close it out in the inning. Furman is able to get three quick outs and now they need to get 5 runs to win this game. Furman gets a hit and the ralley is on for the Paladins.
