Chase Allsup got the start and started well in the first with three up three down. On the offensive side Maners doubled advanced on an Ike Irish single and scored on a balk by Eastern Kentucky starter, Isaac Milburn. Cooper McMurray walked, and Chris Stanfield drove everyone in on a home run to left center.
The Tigers took a 4-0 lead into the top of the second. They gave three of those runs back on two home runs. The Tigers were able to match the Colonels offense with three runs of their own. Gavin Miller started the inning off with a single to center and advanced to second on another balk. In this inning there were balks and walks that lead to the three runs scored by the Tigers.
Allsup, again went three up three down to end the third.

Auburn would score again on an Ike Irish monster blast to dead center, over the batters eye. Allsup ran into trouble and gave up a pair of unearned runs in the top of the fifth. Tanner Bauman came in and baton down the hatches. Bauman retired all four batters he faced. Meanwhile, the Tiger bats heated up with a series of walks and hits over the next few innings and the game broke wide open. In the bottom of the seventh with Auburn up 13-6, Irish got things started with a double to center. McMurray walked and Pierce struck out swinging but made it to first on an errant throw from the catcher loading the bases. Stanfield walked scoring Irish. Cooper Weiss doubled down the LF line clearing the bases. Auburn walked off Eastern Kentucky in the unconventional 7th inning run rule 17-6.
