He holds 12 years of coaching in the NFL to his name, split between the Miami Dolphins (2012-18) and the Detroit Lions (2022-23). Johnson’s Lions are still in the playoff hunt, after beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 31-23, in the NFC’s divisional round. They will play the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC title game this weekend.
Bobby Slowik
The Falcons have completed a virtual interview with Bobby Slowik for their head-coaching vacancy, the Falcons announced on Sunday.

He is currently the Houston Texans offensive coordinator. This season is Slowik’s first with the Houston Texans under that title. He spent the previous six seasons working with the San Francisco 49ers, before leaving to be with the Texans.
Bill Belichick
The Atlanta Falcons have completed a second interview with Bill Belichick for the open head coach position, the Falcons announced on Friday. Belichick spent the last 24 seasons as head coach of the New England Patriots where he helped the Patriots win 17 division titles and six Super Bowl Championships.
