The Mississippi Braves will be playing their last season in Pearl, MS as they will be moving to Columbus, GA. There was speculation prior to the announcement that a possible move could be imminent, and that Columbus was a possible site for the move. The Mississippi Braves are currently in the Southern League and are the Atlanta Braves AA affiliate This move will put the AA, AAA, and Major League teams in the state of Georgia.
