Michigan had a huge fourth quarter stand to keep Washington out of the end zone several times in the second half while scoring enough to win 34-13 to win its first Championship in the CFP era, and its first since 1997.

The Michigan defense kept Michael Penix Jr. out of the end zone by applying pressure on him and knocking him around the entire game. The Huskies was also not able to stop RB Donovan Edwards who had two massive runs (41 yards for TD, 46 yards for TD) for huge yards to help lead Michigan to the win. The win also has returned Michigan to its champion blue blood status according to fans all over the world on social media. regardless of the mess that is stealing signs, Michigan was able to keep Washington at bay and out of the end zone most the game.

Washington now ends its PAC12 run and joins Michigan in the Big10 next year along with USC, UCLA, and Oregon. Penix Jr finished (27/51 255 yards 1 TD 2 Ints) while Blake Corum had (21 carries 134 yards 2 TDs). Congratulations to Michigan on its National Championship win and good luck next year.
