Coastal Carolina Basketball Coach to Retire Today

Former Clemson Basketball Coach and current Coastal Carolina Coach Cliff Ellis is set to retire today as the oldest coach in Division 1 basketball. Coach Ellis has coached at Clemson, South Alabama, Auburn, and Coastal Carolina along with 78 victories along the way.

Ellis has been to 3 Sweet 16 appearances (1 Clemson, 2 Auburn) and is the active leader in career wins, overall he has 833 which is 11th all time. News is that assistant head coach Benny Moss will take over till a replacement can be found.
