Greenville Drive Split Double Header with Rome Braves

The Greenville Drive came into the Double Header looking to get back to the series streak they have had pretty much all summer long. Game one was going to set the tone for the Drive and it didn’t start off like they wanted but ended the way it needed. The Braves get out to a 2-0 start going into the fourth inning when Roman Anthony the Rookie Slugger gets a ground rule double to make it 2-1 and this would be the start Greenville needed to get the comeback going.
The R in RBI stands for Roman.

The Braves would add one and then Greenville gets Gonzo up and he blast a homerun to make it 3-2 as the Drive would keep the Braves in sight. Then Lopi gets a hit through and its a tied ballgame as the fans are ready to see the Drive finish the march to the win.

Then thats when Keir Meridith hits a massive homerun his first, to make the game 5-3 and that would be enough to hold off the Braves and the Drive take Game 1 5-3.

Game 2
The Drive fresh off the win look to get the Game 2, yet once again the Braves jump out to the lead first and its 3-0 Braves till Brainer Bonaci rips one into right and we’re within a run as two runs come home and its 3-2 Braves still on top.

Then, Tyler Miller rips one into right and some errors ensue giving the Drive the lead 4-3 and the fans are hoping for a sweep in the night, the players are ready to put it away. Ronald Rosario with the sac-fly and the Drive boost the lead to 5-3 and it seems the Drive are heading to victory.
