The Greenville Drive went into Sunday’s match up with the series victory already in hand, but on the line was a possible 4 game win streak and getting to 500 in the season. When the dust was settled, they accomplished that and are now sitting at 500 for the season and on a 4 game win streak heading into a road match up with the Rome Braves this coming week.

The Hot Rods would answer the call in the second with a 2 run inning to make it 2-1, but then the Drive would answer that with 3 runs to make it 4-2 and take the lead back when Ronald Rosario’s first homer as a member of the Drive goes over the Green Monster.

Then in the sixth Inning the Drive would get two more runs, then in the eighth inning the runs would come in bunches as first as Bonaci hits a 3-run homer out of the park and its 10-5, but the fun wasn’t over as Tyler Miller gets two RBIs after a double to make it 12-5, the Hot Rods would get one in the nineth but it was too little to late, your Drive win 12-6.
