The Greenville Swamp Rabbits are on a emotional skid with several loses and needing to change things fast to keep a playoff hope alive. Bring in the Orlando Solar Bears for a Friday & Saturday weekend to hopefully get back on the winning side of things. Tonight, Greenville will need to be firing on all cylinders to defeat the Solar Bears who are trying to stay out of the bottom of the standings.

The Swamp Rabbits strike first with a goal by Ethan Somoza, assist going to Nikitia Pavlychev and Ethan Cap at the 17:43 mark. The Rabbits are looking good so far in the opening moments of this game.

At the 13:08 mark the Swamp Rabbits get another huge goal by Brett Kemp and the Swamp Rabbits lead 2-0 in the first period, Kemp was unassisted as he broke away and got the goal.

The rabbits then with 53 seconds left get another score as Dallas Gerads gets in on the scoring and gets assisted by Brannon McManus, as the Swamp Rabbits are now up 3-0 at the end of the first period.

The Solar Bears strike back and get a goal and its now 3-1 with 13 minutes left in the second period. The Rabbits at this point have 15 SOG to the Bears 10.

The Rabbits with 8:21 left score again during a power play when Kemp gets his second goal of the night, assist by Young and Somoza, now the score is 4-1. This game is also getting very physical as there have been fights all during the game with many power play chances.

The third and final period starts off with the Solar Bears scoring at the 16:21 minute mark to make the score 4-2, then just as that happens, the Swamp Rabbits Joe Gastenby gets a score, and the Rabbits are now up 5-2 with 16:06 remaining. Then with 12:47 left Brett Kemp scores and gets his hat trick of the season, assist to Nachbaur and Gerads.

After a huge fight and a power play follow the Polar Bears get a score and now its 6-3 with under 10 minutes left to play. Both teams are hitting hard and we are under 2 minutes to go as Greenville looks to close this out and scores again to make it 7-3 and its a great night to be a Rabbit fan!
